Description of Service

BioBriefcase is a scientific evidence retrieval and analysis platform operated by Vanovian Bio Inc. The service searches public databases including PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and drug databases to generate ranked evidence packs for research and analysis purposes.

Important Disclaimer

Results should not be used as a substitute for professional medical judgment. Users are responsible for independently verifying any information obtained through the service.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit queries unrelated to biomedical or life sciences research
• Submit content designed to abuse, manipulate, or exploit the AI parsing layer
• Attempt to reverse engineer the service
• Resell or redistribute results without authorization
• Use automated scripts to access the service beyond normal usage
• Misrepresent BioBriefcase results as your own original research without attribution

Vanovian Bio Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Intellectual Property

The BioBriefcase platform, including its pipeline, scoring algorithms, and interface, is owned by Vanovian Bio Inc. Results generated by the service are based on publicly available data and may be used by you for your research and business purposes. The underlying data from PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and other public sources remains subject to the terms of those respective databases.

Subscriptions and Payment

Paid features are billed through Stripe. Subscription terms and pricing are displayed at the time of purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of purchase.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vanovian Bio Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of BioBriefcase. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, BioBriefcase retrieves data from third-party public sources. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of search results. Database coverage depends on the availability and update schedules of PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and other data sources.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of BioBriefcase after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
